Friday Favorites - My N Sale Picks

It’s that time of year again: The N Sale is upon us. And if you follow even a single blogger on social media, I’m sure you’ve already heard all about it.

If I’m being totally honest, I was hesitant to shop the sale this year. For one, I’m not a fashion blogger. Two, I’m not a huge advocate of shopping just because something is on sale, or for fear of it selling out before fall. In my experience, they typically tend to restock the items that go lightening fast; and its never worth buying something just to buy something. And three, I’m 32 weeks pregnant and have no idea what I’ll be squeezing this postpartum body into next season.

That being said, this sale is tugging at all my fall-loving heartstrings. And I’m super excited to wear some cozy, regular-sized clothes come autumn. Just give me a fall knit and a glass of red and I’ll be in my own little heaven…

I, myself, do not have a Nordstrom card, so I will be waiting until the sale is open to the public next Friday, July 19 at 12:30 pm EST to shop my picks. But I did enjoy envisioning apple cider and pumpkin picking and holding baby number two while picking out these transitional N Sale pieces. I kept it super simple- a few staple sweaters, the perfect transitional coats, my very favorite denim and a few great booties and flats.

There’s still a strong chance I’ll be in stretch pants and spit-up covered sweatshirts come October/November, but hey, a girl can dream.
