Five Simple Changes That Have Made Life Easier
Just a few weeks ago we celebrated six months in our new home. On March 14, to be exact. I cannot believe we have lived here for half a year. It’s still so crazy at times to think we moved our little family of four, plus two fur babies, down south in the middle of a pandemic. But did it we did, and are so happy to be in our cozy home and to finally enjoy a bit of a routine. It was a tad hectic there for a bit- with so many changes and so little routine- but over the last few months we’ve found our groove again, and we’ve made a few simple changes that has helped make life just a little bit easier these days.

Last week, on Christmas night, I laid in bed- with a belly full of wine and food; a house overcome by ripped-open boxes and toys and clutter; and two happy, sleeping babies in the rooms next to me. Only nine more sleeps until Santa arrives, and we are soaking it all in while we can! It’s always a little bittersweet for me this time of year- it’s my very favorite and I love every second of the holiday season, but it always seems to go by a little too fast. Weekend Recap
After traveling a bunch the entire month of May and the beginning of June, we finally had a full family weekend at home. And it was just what we needed.
Friday we celebrated Maddie’s birthday with a super low key get together at the house with family. We grilled and enjoyed some good old fashion Carvel ice cream cake and enjoyed our first official BBQ of the season at our house.

Life Lately
Friday marks week 27 for this here bump, and I can’t believe the third trimester is just around the corner. It really is crazy how much quicker my pregnancy is going, this time around. So much faster, but still THIRTEEN weeks left to go. Making a tiny human really does take forever, and its really ten months not nine, people; but I know its all worth it in the end. And even though my due date isn’t for three more months, if its anything like the past few, I know it’ll go by in the blink of an eye- especially now that school’s out and summer vacation is officially here.
