Five Simple Changes That Have Made Life Easier

Just a few weeks ago we celebrated six months in our new home. On March 14, to be exact. I cannot believe we have lived here for half a year. It’s still so crazy at times to think we moved our little family of four, plus two fur babies, down south in the middle of a pandemic. But did it we did, and are so happy to be in our cozy home and to finally enjoy a bit of a routine. It was a tad hectic there for a bit- with so many changes and so little routine- but over the last few months we’ve found our groove again, and we’ve made a few simple changes that has helped make life just a little bit easier these days.

Body After Babies + My Workout Essentials

It’s no secret {or surprise} that over the last six plus years my body has changed quite a bit. I was 29 when I began fertility treatments for our first baby, and it didn’t take long before the hormone injections, pills and the immense amount of stress began to make some unwanted alterations to my body.

I gained a significant amount of weight with Maddie- several pounds before she was even conceived- and it took roughly seventeen months after she was born before I felt truly comfortable in my body again.

Just in time for us to begin fertility treatments for baby number two.

Gift Guide 2020 - Secret Santa Gifts Under $30

For the last few years my extended family and a group of close friends have replaced traditional gifts with eachother for one big, good old fashion game of Secret Santa. We typically organize it through the site, Elfster- it’s super easy to use and organize everyone’s wishlists; and then swap gifts at an annual Christmas Eve dinner we would have at our favorite Connecticut restaurant.

10 Summer Reads

Tomorrow is the Fourth of July, meaning summer is now officially in full swing.

We’ll be spending the next few months keeping this bump close to home- and I’m planning on a whole lot of {shaded} beachside lounging in my future. Hopefully, this will leave me with some much desired time to dive head first into a book or two {or three}.
