Bundled Up

Brrr! We went from playing outside without our jackets on Monday to our first snowfall of the season yesterday. And it was chil-ly.

Maddie was so excited at the prospect of a November winter wonderland- she had visions of building snowmen and sledding at the first sound of a chance of snow. And it sort of broke my heart when I had to explain that sometimes a snowfall is just a flurry- or hail- and we may have to wait a bit before we meet Olaf this winter.

Regardless of snowfall, there’s no doubt the Connecticut cold is upon us. And my girls and I have been living in our hand knit smoke & slate beanies- they’re seriously the softest hats ever, and I love the optional pom detail.

And I’ve also been cozying up in this puffer coat from last season- luckily, they made a few different versions this year that I’ve linked below for you, as well as a few other beanies if you’re in the market to bundle up.
