Lila’s Cheerful Bedroom Corner

Happy Wednesday, friends!

As the virtual tour of our Charleston home continues, I bring to you this cheerful slice of little Lila’s bedroom.

As I’ve mentioned before, the previous owners had two boys, so the first thing we did to make these rooms “ours” was to wallpaper the girls’ walls. This navy and pink Ibis beauty was love at first sight- it fit in quite nicely with the existing curtains and I loved how the colors blended with her rug and accents from our prior nursery.

It’s been my very favorite from the start; but it doesn’t mesh well with the artwork we had in our Connecticut nursery, where the walls were stark white, and the vibe was much more nautical and neutral.

So I’ve been on the hunt for a few prints for Lila’s space- I wanted to lean into color and pattern, but not invest in too many pieces, as we don’t know where furniture will live once we transition to a more grown up room for our girl.

I found these three posters from my favorite online shop, Poster Store- I love the addition of flamingos and bright yellow sunflower. And it’s and added bonus that they’re super affordable, so if we need to swap them out as the room changes, it won’t be too painful.

If you’re looking for posters and prints you can use my code 40MORGAN for 40% off all posters now through November 7*
